Republic Airways Reports a 23% increase in February 2007 Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2007--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for February 2007. The company generated 503.9 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 22.7% increase over the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 730.0 million, a 22.8% increase. Block hours were 45,400 in February 2007, a 22.4% increase over February 2006. Load factor was 69.0% versus 69.1% in February 2006. A total of 961,226 passengers were carried during the month, a 22.1% increase over the same month last year. During the month, the company cancelled approximately 2,000 flights, or about 7% of the scheduled departures, with over 1,700 cancellations being due to inclement weather throughout the Midwest and East Coast.
